PDF → PDF/A, make it archive-ready

Convert PDFs to PDF/A, the archival standard required by governments, courts, and long-term archives. This tool runs on our server, not in your browser.

Runs on our server in Mumbai, India, deleted right after

Why this tool needs a server (and how we handle it)

  • This tool needs a binary that doesn't run in browsers (Ghostscript, qpdf, LibreOffice, or Tesseract).
  • Your file is processed in an isolated tmpdir per request, on our own server: a VPS in Mumbai, India.
  • We delete the tmpdir immediately after the response is sent. A cron backstop clears anything left within an hour (for example after a crash).
  • The disk is not encrypted at rest; the file only exists on it for the seconds it takes to process, then is deleted.
  • No logging of file contents. No human review. Never used for training, never shared, never kept.
  • Sent over HTTPS (TLS), with HSTS preload and a strict CSP enforced.
