How this stays private
- Your PDF is read in your browser using pdf.js. The file itself never uploads.
- Per question, only the most relevant text excerpts (up to 32 KB) and your question are sent over HTTPS to Anthropic, a third-party AI provider. Never the file.
- Anthropic automatically deletes API inputs and outputs within 30 days, and by default does not use them to train its models.
- Open DevTools → Network and watch, only `/api/ai/chat` calls go out, with text payloads only.
