Summarize any PDF, privately
Get a concise summary of any PDF: abstract, key points, and conclusions. The text is extracted in your browser, and only a trimmed excerpt is sent to Anthropic, a third-party AI provider, to write the summary.
Drop your files
PDF text is extracted in your browser. Only the trimmed text, never the file, is sent for summarization.
How this stays private
- The PDF is read locally via pdf.js. The file itself never uploads.
- Only the first 32 KB of cleaned text (~10 pages of dense content) is sent over HTTPS to Anthropic, a third-party AI provider. Never the file.
- Anthropic automatically deletes API inputs and outputs within 30 days, and by default does not use them to train its models.
